Dan Worton's professional music career started at the tender age of 16 as drummer for local indie legends Ned's Atomic Dustbin. In 1990 he signed to Sony Music Record Company and to Polygram Music Publishing.

Over an 8 year span Dan achieved 2 top 20 albums, 6 top 40 singles, sold a total of 1,000,000 albums around the world and appeared on tv programmes such as MTV, Top of the Pops, The Word and The Beat. He has performed at leading festivals around the world including Glastonbury, Reading, Phoenix, Fleadh and played at the R.F.K stadium in Washington D. C to a capacity of 80,000 people. The Band appeared on the front cover for the N.M.E 3 times and recorded at top studios around the UK including Olympic in London, Peter Gabriel's Real World in Bath and Rockfield in Wales where Queen recorded 'Bohemian Rhapsody'.

In 2000 Dan qualified as a secondary Music teacher (B.Ed Music with Qualified Teacher Status) and has taught music from year 7 through to GCSE and A Level. Dan became a self employed music teacher in 2003, teaching guitar, bass, drums and music theory around the West Midlands.

Recently, Dan re-signed a publishing deal with Universal and played Glastonbury in 2007, later this year the band will play a 20th anniversary xmas show at Wolverhampton Wulfrun Hall.
